I have removed the concrete patio, step and part of the narrow sidewalk.	The grade is lowered so the top of the deck will be just below the sill into the house.
9 posts and 2 of the girders are set, and 2" of gravel spread.	Joists are set, and starting the decking.
Decking is on.  Now for the steps.	From the other side.
I poured a new sidewalk so the deck step and sidewalk are at the same height.	Raw wood is ready for preservative.
Now the wood is protected.	If this deck is treated with the same preservative each year, it will always look like this.
