These are the original cabinets.  Many of the neighbors have painted theirs, but I wanted to give this kitchen a better look and feel than paint could give.   Click on an image to enlarge it.
All that's been removed is the trim piece at the ceiling.	Lighter, brighter, easier to live with.
The counter tops are new (not done by me) and were installed after the vinyl window trim.  See "Vinyl Windows" on the main menu.	The counter tops are beautiful, but they don't go with the cabinet and window trim color...(see photo and caption below this one).
Painting the inside of the cabinets brightens them significantly.	So I used an off-white "color barrier" to separate them.
Part of the job was to add light over the sink, so I removed the single fluorescent shown in the "before" photos above and installed track lighting.	The "color barrier" has a trim piece over the paint-to-stain junction.
